Europe Facing Potential Famine in the Wake of Nord Stream ‘Attack’

As the unprecedented energy crisis across Europe worsens, the recent attack on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline could be the final nail in the coffin, amid fears of widespread famine.

The economic damage caused by the attack risks eclipsing the impact of the current global financial crisis.

Due to soaring energy costs, European businesses have already been forced to reduce production or shut down altogether.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has already called on citizens to “flatten the curve” by reducing their energy usage.

Of course, Politicians and officials are blaming the energy crisis on Russia, but in the wake of the Nord Stream 2 crisis, that blame could shift elsewhere depending who has the means and motive.

Many critics of the so-called ‘green’ agenda argue that such a situation has been artificially created to starve the population into compliance, amid a shift to a “green” new economy.

Famine

According to Michael Yon, a long-time war correspondent and a former U.S. Army Green Beret, the current energy crisis is part of a “planned destruction of the Western world,” which will lead to global famine.

“It was clear that the globalists are systematically destroying the energy resilience of our countries. This started before the war, by shutting down the energy independence we had. In Groningen [Holland] they have all the natural gas they need to run this whole country, and a significant part of Western Europe, but it’s sitting in the ground, they won’t pull it out,” Yon said on the podcast Man in America, adding: “If you don’t have the energy, you’re not going to have the food.”

Countries like Germany have quickly shut down their nuclear power plants, in line with the “green agenda.”

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine has seemingly been used to cover their tracks while imposing unprecedented restrictions.

Natural gas is needed to produce fertilizer, and without Nord Stream 2, many producers will be unable to carry on production, including Norwegian company Yara – who warned the world is facing a food supply shock.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said earlier this month that the EU would propose “a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours,” similar language used throughout the pandemic.

Energy grid collapse

As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Police in Germany is already drawing up emergency plans for a possible energy grid collapse this winter.

Authorities are anticipating rioting and looting this winter because citizens will not be able to heat their homes due to soaring gas prices and energy rationing.

We also reported in August that German officials warned that riots resulting from gas shortages would make anti-lockdown protests look like a “children’s birthday party.”

Gas shortages in Germany have come from Russia’s war in Ukraine and long-term mismanagement by the government.

“The shortage would likely prompt mass riots that will make previous anti-lockdown demos look like a “children’s birthday party,” an official warned.

According to Bloomberg, energy bills for European households will surge by 2 trillion euros by 2023.

Amid reports of farmer protesters against the government in Holland, which is sabotaging the food supply by expropriating farmland – there appears to be a growing number of people becoming aware of what seems to be a controlled demolition of the economy.
