When Elon Musk took over Twitter in October last year, he restored new hope among conservative accounts, with many prominent influencers previously banned or suspended under Jack Dorsey being resurrected.
Not only that, Musk positioned himself as a somewhat conservative figurehead, a good guy within the elite ranks of big tech fighting for free speech, and “the little guy.”
The promise of renewed free speech on a prominent social media platform was music to everyone’s ears, including mine.
However, things have turned out differently than we expected or hoped for. In fact, the promise Musk said he would deliver on upholding the first amendment now appears to be in a retrograde flow.
In May, Musk hired World Economic Forum member (WEF) Linda Yaccarino as CEO of Twitter. Initially, many conservatives responded to the news with repudiation, but some held fire since she followed big conservative accounts, including Chaya Raichik, Jack Posobiec, Sidney Powell, Catturd, and Michael Shellenberger.
But of course, it would be foolhardy to assume that who one follows on Twitter indicates their political stance or true intentions, whether good or bad.
While Yaccarino engages with content coming from Conservative accounts, that still does not indicate who she is.
Before I continue, I would like to set the tone for what is to be revealed in this article with a passage from Mathew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, those who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
Nothing is ever as it seems, and we should practice discernment by judging the tree by the fruit bears.
Twitter is now rapidly returning to the pre-musk days of tyrannical overlord Jack Dorsey, when logging into your account became almost like opening a trap door, not knowing what was waiting on the other side.
We are back here now, a dark time Conservatives thought they had left behind in 2022.
We’ll start with the Conservative Twitter MAGA account @JDunlap1974, a conservative account boasting 91.1k followers, recently tweeted the widely reported story that cocaine was found in the White House.
This wasn’t misinformation or spin; this is widely reported as fact. However, for simply tweeting out this fact, the account was suspended for 12 hours for violating Twitter rules and forced to delete the tweet.
Twenty four hours later, another large conservative account with 555k followers, Dom Lucre, found his account suspended for apparently violating Twitter rules.
See below
According to the Conservative account Big Fish, Dom Lucre dedicated the day to exposing details on the Obama personal Chef death on Martha’s Vineyard and releasing the 911 call mentioned before he was suspended.
Besides the slew of suspensions, other accounts noticed a drastic drop in reach on their accounts.
Conservative author and speaker, Juanita Broaddrick also noticed the drop, tweeting: “Can you see this tweet? My account is being more suppressed than ever. Are you all experiencing this too?”
So what’s happening?
Earlier this month, X News Daily tweeted that the drop in reach was down to NSFW labels being placed on accounts:
“In recent months, some big accounts have complained about their reach tanking, which turned out to be because they had a temporary NSFW label put on their account,” X News Daily wrote.
“There needs to be more transparency on these labels and a preference for tweet-level action in isolated cases.”
Meanwhile, a Conservative account, THE PARZIVAL, wrote that Twitter’s algorithm had coding to penalize certain groups, known as Clusters.
“TWITTER ALGO HAS CODING TO PENALIZE CERTAIN GROUPS, KNOWN AS CLUSTERS, WHERE CLUSTERS GET PENALIZED BASED ON LOTS OF INTEREST AND POPULAR USERS!
CONSERVATIVE CLUSTERS ARE BEING PENALIZED, WHICH LIMITS VISIBILITY FOR ALL THAT ARE IN IT!!”
Another user responded to the tweet with this:
The GatewayPundit replied saying they where also affected:
It gets deeper.
In June, THE PARZIVAL wrote this:
If the aforementioned account is correct, and according to various accounts reporting drops in reach, suspensions, and outright banning, it now appears Twitter is reverting back to the old days of shadowbanning.
The question is, why? And why now?

I’ve been fighting with Twitter too.
My account is small, but that’s because this is my 4th re-start on Twitter., but since May my followers have been disappearing, even though I get about 70 a day.
Writing or e-mailing Twitter Support gets me nowhere.
