Kid Rock fans declared they would drink anything but Bud Light at the singer’s recent concert in Nashville.
The beer brand continues its free fall following its decision to collaborate with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney earlier this year.
Fox News interviewed Kid Rock fans outside Ridgestone Arena who said they no longer spend their hard-earned money on the once top-selling beer brand.
“What beer are we drinking on the Fourth of July? Um, I don’t know, anything but Bud Light,” one man, Rich, told Fox News. “Maybe Heineken Light.”
Another attendee, David, said: “No Bud Light. Not here.”
Sales of Bud Light tumbled 27.9 percent in the week ending June 24 compared to a year ago,
Modelo Especial has since surpassed Bud Light and has become the top-selling beer brand in the U.S.
A Kid Rock concertgoer named Ron told Fox News: “Regardless of the company, once they get involved politically, then I don’t want to support that.”
“You get two votes in this country,” he said. “You get your first vote at the ballot. The second vote is with your wallet.”
Earlier this year, Kid Rock posted a video of him using cases of Bud Light as target practice in response to transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney becoming the beer company’s spokesperson.
Rock, who is clear about his stance against everything ‘woke,’ faces the camera and says, “Grandpa is feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible.”
The rapper then opens fire on several cases of Bud Light, totally pulverizing them.
The singer then turns to the camera and declares: “Fck Bud Light and fck Anheuser Busch. Have a terrific day.”
