Former FBI Director James Comey, the man who pushed an intelligence investigation against candidate and president-elect Trump, and President Trump, knowing it was based on a lie, now says the 45th president poses a “near-existential threat” to the country.
Despite all the above being confirmed in the Durham report, Comey claimed there is “nothing new” in and continues to deny the FBI had any political motive in its Trump investigations.
Comey went on to explain why he believes Trump poses a “near-existential threat” to the rule of law in America.
“There’s nothing new in this new document,” Comey said.
“In complex investigations, there’s always going to be mistakes. It doesn’t mean the FBI isn’t competent, honest, and independent.”
“After the search of Mar-a-Lago, there were days of lies about the FBI acting as some sort of thug army, and that hurts because the FBI needs to knock on doors and get people’s help,” he added.
“I think he poses a near existential threat to the rule of law,” Comey claimed.
‘He will do everything he can in a new term to try to tear down the institutions that he sees as threats and dismantle them and the people who occupy them.”

Trump fired Comey in 2017, but the slimeball who followed him is even worse than his predecessor.
Earlier this month, Trump blasted Comey after a new report concluded his probe into alleged Russian collusion should never have been opened.
“I, and much more importantly, the American public, have been victims of this long-running and treasonous charade started by the Democrats — started by Comey,” Trump said.
“Public anger over this report is at a level that I have not seen before…there must be a heavy price to there pay for putting our country through this,” he added.
Later in a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:
“WOW! After extensive research, Special Counsel John Durham concludes the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia Probe!” Trump said.
“In other words, the American Public was scammed, just as it is being scammed right now by those who don’t want to see GREATNESS for AMERICA!” he added.
