Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to Tesla CEO Elon Musk after her mocked AOC for her response to escalating the migrant crisis in New York City.
Musk responded to the missive Ocasio-Cortez received after she mocked Republicans for the federal government heading towards a budget shutdown.
“Boy math is needing 15 attempts to count the votes correctly to become Speaker and then shutting down the government 9 months later,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

The post mocked AOC after she attempted to downplay the migrant crisis in New York City by comparing it to the millions of immigrants who had gone through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954.

“She’s just not that smart,” Elon Musk responded to AOC.

In her response to Elon Musk, AOC failed even to mention the migrant crisis. Instead, she boasted about her so-called accomplishments to prove that Musk’s claims “she’s not that smart” were untrue.
“I wasn’t born rich and became the youngest woman in American history to be elected to Congress,” AOC began.
“Then I investigated Cohen, authored the largest FEMA funeral assistance program in history, and led creation of a US Climate Corps to create tens of thousands of new jobs. Stay mad,” she wrote, adding an emoji of a woman flipping her hair.

However, many New York City officials disagreed with Ocasio-Cortez’s opinion that the worsening migrant population in the city was” “nothing.”
New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently stated that cost could balloon to $15 billion over three years, noting that meals for senior citizens and daycare are at risk.
Adams also warned the migrant crisis would soon “destroy the city.”
AOC also failed to mention the recent reports of a Korean War veteran, who was forced to leave his Staten Island nursing home in New York City to make way for illegal migrants.
As The Daily Fetched noted on Wednesday, the migrant crisis is so bad on New York that around 100 hotels have been turned into shelters, including The Paul Hotel, The Paramount Hotel, and the Roosevelt, which houses 3,000.
Adams is planning to spend an extra $1 billion of taxpayers’ money to house migrants for the next three years, as the city’s public services are facing massive cuts to pay for it.
“The migrant crisis has evolved into a financial boondoggle, with quietly extended contracts fattening the pockets of a few at the taxpayer’s expense,” said Democratic Queens Councilman Robert Holden.
Over 113,000 undocumented migrants have flooded New York after crossing the southern border since last year.
It’s not just New York suffering under the flood of migrants into the city.
Denver is also buckling under the strain of housing illegal migrants as costs soar to $25 million, according to officials.
The city recently told Fox News that its expenses for migrant sheltering are now almost $24.8 million.
Denver has spent a staggering $23 million dealing with the migrant crisis as officials scrambled to implement a plan to provide shelter for migrants in the liberal city.
Musk criticized the media for ignoring the migrant crisis, saying he planned to visit the border to take measure of the crisis himself.
“I spoke with Rep Tony Gonzales tonight – he confirmed that it is a serious issue. They are being overwhelmed by unprecedented numbers – just hit an all-time high and still growing!” Musk wrote.
“I am going to visit Eagle Pass later this week to see what’s going on for myself,” he added.
