Former first lady and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made an embarrassing attempt o troll Republicans over their ongoing political battle with woke Disney, posting an old photo of herself with her husband Bill Clinton, and daughter Chelsea Clinton with Donald Duck at what appears to be Disneyland.
“As Republicans declare war on Disney, I know whose side I’m on…” Hillary Clinton tweeted Tuesday referring to GOP’s battle with the woke company.
Hillary has essentially declared she is all for pushing woke LGBTQ ideology to young children.
It’s well known that Clinton and Disney CEO Bob Iger are political allies, with Iger having hosted luxurious Hollywood fundraisers for Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential run, which she ultimately to president Donald Trump.
Hillary Clinton’s misinformed tweet fails to consider that Disney caved to a small group of radical-left employees who demanded the company condemn Florida’s anti-grooming legislation – the Parental Rights in Education law.
The law, which protects the youngest children from transgender ideology and other radical LGBTQ indoctrination, was smeared by the establishment media as “Don’t Say Gay.”
Disney even vowed to fight the law even after it was passed, calling it a “challenge to basic human rights.”
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis responded to Disney’s refusal to accept the law by stripping it of its self-governing privileges in the Orlando area.
Disney CEO Bob Iger has been slamming DeSantis ever since, calling his actions “anti-business” and “anti-Florida.”
Meanwhile, Disney has also been suffering financially as the public wake up to its radical woke agenda.
As The Daily Fetched reported on Tuesday, two animated Disney movies that embraced woke LGBTQ ideology became the biggest box office flops of 2022, losing the company a quarter of a billion dollars.
“Strange World,” which featured Disney’s first out gay teen hero, lost Disney almost $200 million, receiving the lowest audience score in Dsiney’s history of animated films with a “B” rating.
According to Deadline, the film had a $317.4 million budget but earned a measly $73.6 million at the box office.
Meanwhile, the Disney film “Lightyear,” which featured a gay kissing scene, became another major flop losing the company $106 million at the box office, earning the lowest CinemaScore of any “Toy Story” movie.
