Twitter CEO Elon Musk reacted to the historic indictment of President Donald Trump in a tweet which sums up the lengths Democrats would go to take out their political opponents.
Elon Musk wrote: “If the Dem Party had a time machine,” hinting Democrats would use such a contraption to take out Trump.
Below Musk’s caption was a 1980s image of Trim as a real estate tycoon in New York City.
Above the image read another caption: “Why do time travelers keep trying to kill me? I’m just a realtor!”
Musk’s tweet came today as Trump was arraigned in the Manhattan Criminal Court.
The anticipated “gag order” was not given as it was not deemed necessary by the judge overseeing the former president’s case.
The current indictment lists 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
“The Trump indictment, which I read, would be laughable in any other circumstance,” wrote Cernovich on Twitter.
“It’s the same offense copied and pasted 34 times, with the date changed each time. This is the biggest farce I’ve ever seen.”
“This indictment is a complete abomination,” wrote Article 3 Project’s Mike Davis. “Even dumber and more partisan than I expected. Bragg is a clown.”
The case against Trump is political and an attempt to stop him from running in 2024.
Megyn Kelly noted that Trump’s indictment was “horrible” for the country.
“I think it’s horrible … I think it helps Trump politically … but it’s horrible for the country. And it’s gonna be horrible for him to go through. And it’s going to be horrible for us to go through,” Kelly said.

This has a larger purpose than stopping Trump from running, it’s to end the MAGA movement, to show us that we are all vulnerable, to make us all shut up and hide, and it will only work if Trump is not just convicted but imprisoned.

Arresting MAGA supporters for legally protesting, raiding the president’s private residence, constantly harassing him with false, illegal lawsuits, raiding MAGA properties…I would definitely say this is political persecution and witch hunting and the perpetrators including government can be prosecuted for it. They conspired and illegally committed crimes against Trump and the people and interfered with elections and conspired to overthrow a sitting president.
The Trump NYC indictment isn’t a case seeking a conviction. It’s a prosecutor seeking a book deal, a movie deal, a job offer, a paycheck. Alvin Bragg is a rent-seeking Democratic apparatchik following orders under the promise of a big paycheck at some point down the line. Bragg doesn’t have to get a conviction, although he knows with the jury pool he’ll have available in Manhattan , he stands a good chance of getting one. The important point to remember is that this is just another plot point in the all out war waged against Trump since he walked down the escalator in 2015.
