Megyn Kelly voiced her despair over the indictment of former President Donald Trump while Hillary Clinton walks free after “getting away with so much.”
In her podcast’s latest episode, Kelly lamented the possible ‘impact’ Trump’s arraignment would have on the country.
Megyn Kelly noted that if Trump was guilty, he deserved to face the consequences, but highlighted a double standard compared to Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.
“I think it’s horrible … I think it helps Trump politically … but it’s horrible for the country. And it’s gonna be horrible for him to go through. And it’s going to be horrible for us to go through,” Kelly said.
Kelly vented her frustration over Clinton and Hunter Biden escaping any consequences.
The host emphasized how Clinton has “gotten away with so much” while ‘using lawyers to do her dirty work” for years.

She also questioned how Hunter Biden had evaded arrested despite numerous allegations and the delay in investigating his alleged criminal activities.
Kelly added it was important to treat subpoenas with respect, acknowledging that Trump’s alleged behavior toward classified documents was unacceptable.
“I’m not defending. If he got a subpoena and he had documents, that’s not OK. As a lawyer, you don’t have to persuade me,” she added.
“You’re supposed to treat subpoenas very respectfully … It’s just so aggravating because she [Hillary Clinton] has gotten away with so much,” Kelly said.
“We just went through this whole thing where she used her lawyer to go into the FBI and try to sic them on Donald Trump and say that he was using some Russian bank to hide his nefarious dealings,” she continued.
“She’s been using lawyers to do her dirty work forever, and we just generally haven’t had a practice of criminalizing the behavior of somebody in her position. Yes, we’ve sniffed around the lawyers from time to time, but this is everything with him is different,” Kelly said.
Kelly said Trump’s indictment is “horrible for the country” and Trump himself, but added the indictment might actually help Trump politically.
Trump is to be booked, fingerprinted, and have a mugshot taken at a Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday before appearing before a judge.
Trump will be the first-ever American president to face criminal charges.
