Fans at Yankee Stadium displayed a massive banner calling for the resignation of U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
The blue and red banner reads OustAOC” followed by campaign information for her opponent, Tina Forte.
“From Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, our message is loud and clear: It’s time to OUST AOC from Congress!” Forte wrote in an X post.
Ocasio-Cortez has become synonymous with far-left politics after she offered support for the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020, pushed socialist universal basic income, late-term abortion, and other far-left policy positions.
AOC’s opponent in New York’s 14th Congressional District, Tina Forte, is running on a pro-Trump platform.
Forte ran against AOC in 2022, when she raised $1.5 million in a losing effort.
AOC has become the subject of much heckling and confrontation in recent months.
In March, she was confronted by enraged anti-Israel protesters outside of a movie theater on Monday, demanding she call the war in Gaza a “genocide.”
Ocasio-Cortez and her fiancé were leaving the Alamo Drafthouse when they were faced with several protesters, who stuck cameras in their faces and demanded they address the “genocide” in Gaza at the hand of Israeli forces.
One protester approached AOC, saying, “You refuse to call it a genocide!”
“I need you to understand that this is not okay,” the congresswoman responded, looking flustered.
“It’s not okay that there’s a genocide happening, and you’re not actively against it,” the protester fired back.
“You’re lying!” Ocasio-Cortez responded.
