Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View,” warned that anyone condemning Hamas’ rape and sexual assault of Israeli women could “exacerbate” the terror group.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she was “devastated” over women’s groups’ silence over the sexual assault of Israeli women at the hands of the Hamas terror group.
“I am still devastated — we’re two months since this war’s been underway — by the silence from women’s groups in this country about rape being used as an act of war in this attack,” Griffin said while citing a video from Sheryl Sandberg, who wrote a CNN op-ed titled, “silence on these war crimes is deafening.”
Griffin continued:
Rape “violates every rule of warfare. It is the height of immorality, and … the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment has been silent, the UN Committee on Elimination of Discrimination Against Women has been silent, and the international MeToo movement has been silent.”
However, Goldberg interjected, cutting Griffin off with her reasons for the silence.
“Perhaps the reason they’ve been silent is for the same reason that you just described … they don’t wanna exacerbate.”
Whoopi Goldberg failed to say what would would be exacerbated by condemning Hamas’ rape and sexual assault.
“Listen, I know that this is really hard for people to sit still with,” Goldberg added.
“So, right now, we’re glad people are coming out, and that’s what we’re gonna keep talking about because we want to encourage — you know, the bottom line truly is this: You don’t have a choice, you have to end this because at some point it’s gonna dawn on everybody there that no one’s leaving.”
“No one’s leaving the land,” she said.
“So the question has to become, ‘How do we live together on this land?’ That is all that people should be thinking about so that this does not continue to happen.”

Meanwhile, Griffin also called out far-left Democrats for false claims that Israel was responsible for the hospital explosion in Gaza last month.
“I want to say shame on Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar because they played a role in the fact that this agreement, with the Arab nations that he [President Biden] was going to meet with fell apart,” she said.
“We now know that this hospital attack that took place, Biden said he is very confident it was not the Israelis that did it,” Griffin added.
“It was likely Islamic Jihad and that’s because of US Department of Defense intelligence and footage analyzed.”
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier this month, Israel’s recent strikes against Gaza in response to the October 7 attacks have sparked massive backlash from the media.
Several leftist media outlets falsely reported that Israel targeted a hospital in Gaza.
Other outlets also reported the heavily-disputed Palestinian death toll, which Hamas provided.
Last month, The New York Times admitted it “relied too heavily on claims by Hamas” in its recent report blaming Israel for the Gaza hospital attack.
In early November, CNN came under fire after an unearthed photo of a CNN and AP photographer being kissed on the cheek from the head of the Hamas terror group was leaked.
