Whoopi Goldberg left her co-hosts on The View in a state of shock when she admitted that ‘we deserve what we get’ if Donald Trump is re-elected.
Goldberg said if Trump reclaims the White House, then it means the American people “were not loud enough.”
Co-host Joy Behar was quick to respond to Goldberg’s remarks, saying, “Don’t put me in that,” adding that she won’t be voting for him.
Meanwhile, co-host Sunny Hostin said another Trump presidency would “destroy the country.”
“Listen, if he gets re-elected, we deserve what we get,” Goldberg said.
“If we put him back in, if he gets back in, we deserve what we got.”
Whoopi Goldberg added that if Trump is elected, the US Constitution wasn’t “strong enough to keep this bozo out.”

Earlier this month, Behar dared Trump to punish the show’s co-hosts if he becomes president.
“Go ahead! Try it!” she said after Trump promised to punish the fake news media in his first term.
Earlier this year, Goldberg compared Donald Trump supporters to “cult members” during an interview with ex-White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson.
Goldberg and Behar grilled Hutchinson and her fellow former Trump aide, Alyssa Farah Griffin, asking them if they were in “some kind of denial” as she struggled to understand why they continued to support Trump.
Other media talking heads have voiced concern about the possible consequences they face under another Trump presidency.
Earlier this week, MSNBC host Jen Psaki warned Democrats that Donald Trump would “lock up” his political opponents if re-elected president.
“If elected to a second term, Donald Trump would prosecute anyone he deems an enemy, unleash troops on protesters, and essentially unravel the rule of law as we know it,” she said.
The Daily Fetched reported in September that Trump said he investigate Comcast, the parent company of NBC News and MSNBC, for their Country Threatening Treason.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote:
“They are almost all dishonest and corrupt, but Comcast, with its one-side and vicious coverage by NBC News, and in particular MSNBC, often and correctly referred to as MSDNC (Democrat National Committee!), should be investigated for its ‘Country Threatening Treason.'”
“I say up front, openly, and proudly that when I WIN the presidency of the United States, they and others of the LameStream Media will be thoroughly scrutinized for their knowingly dishonest and corrupt coverage of people, things, and events,” he said.
“Why should NBC, or any other of the corrupt & dishonest media companies, be entitled to use the very valuable Airwaves of the USA, FREE?”
“They are a true threat to Democracy and are, in fact, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”
“The Fake News Media should pay a big price for what they have done to our once great Country!”
