A video of a veteran confronting GOP primary candidate Nikki Haley has gone viral after he gave the former U.S. ambassador some home truths about her chance against former President Donald Trump.
The alleged veteran confronted Haley in a local Chick-fil-A and challenged her on her campaign’s spending on political advertisements, amounting to millions of dollars plowed into liberal networks.
“Do you think it’s responsible for politicians to spend like, a hundred million in Iowa on T.V. ads which go to mainly news stations that lied to us for years when there’s homeless veterans out there that could use that money?” the unidentified man asked Haley after she encouraged him to vote for her.
“When you didn’t even come close to beating Trump?” he added, cutting Haley off.
“And you spent like a hundred million in T.V. ad money?”

Haley came third in the Iowa caucuses after former president Donald Trump swooped a landslide victory, winning over 50% of the polls and winning every county in the state.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in second and has since dropped out of the race to endorse Trump.
“Do you know my husband’s a veteran?” Haley responded.
“That’s fine, but I’m just saying—” the man continued before being interrupted.
“He’s a combat veteran,” Haley said.
“And do you know that when the media doesn’t tell the truth the whole reason you put commercials on is to tell the truth because the media doesn’t?”
“My point is, you’re not gonna beat Trump, and all of the money you’re wasting could go to better causes,” the veteran told Haley.
“That would make the Republican Party actually look better.”
As The Daily Fetched reported in December, prominent Democratic Party donor and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman donated a quarter-million dollars to a super PAC supporting Haley.
Hoffman, who endorsed Biden earlier this year, also helped fund writer E. Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against Donald Trump, in which accused the former president of sexual assault in the dressing room of a New York City department store in the 1990s.
According to Politico, Haley has taken money from three super PACs:
Americans for Prosperity
SFA Fund
Independents Moving the Needle
The former U.N. embassor has spent over $24 million in media buys in Iowa alone, according to AdImpact analysis.
Those Super Pac donations, combined with $4.7 Million of the Haley campaign’s own money, totals nearly double the $15.3 million spent on political ads by Donald Trump’s campaign.
