A prominent Democratic Party donor and Joe Biden supporter has donated a whopping $250,000 to help Nikki Haley’s 2024 presidential campaign.
Just days after JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon called on Democratic donors to back Haley, LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman donated a quarter-million dollars to a super PAC supporting Haley, the New York Times reported.
The report said that Hoffman’s political adviser, Dmitri Mehlhorn, confirmed the donation to SFA Fund Inc.
According to Mehlhorn, the super PAC was asked if it would accept cash from a Biden-supporting Democrat, and they said yes.

Hoffman, who endorsed Biden earlier this year, also helped fund writer E. Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against Donald Trump, in which accused the former president of sexual assault in the dressing room of a New York City department store in the 1990s.
According to the latest RealClearPolitics polling averages, Haley remains in third place in the GOP race.
Meanwhile, Trump is first with 61.3 percent, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 13.2 percent, and Haley at 0.2 percent.
Haley has not been shy about accepting support from Democrats.
“Anybody that wants to come to support the cause, whether they’re Republican, independent or Democrat, we’re going to take them,” she told Fox News.
“And that’s the way the Republican Party should look at it is, this is a story about addition, not about getting people and pushing people away.”
However, Trump threw shade on cross-party support.
“While globalist special interest donors from both parties forge an unholy alliance to beat us, I’m calling on our grassroots donors like YOU to fight back,” Trump said.
Hoffman’s donations have been strategic in his attempts to derail Trump’s campaign.
Meanwhile, Haley hasn’t been shy about going after Trump either.
In September, the former Governor claimed Americans are too smart to vote for “convicted criminal” President Donald Trump.
“What you saw were candidates on that stage said that they would do exactly what they signed and pledged to do, which is support the Republican nominee.”
“That’s what we are saying. I don’t think President Trump’s going to be the nominee,” Haley said.
“I think it’s going to be me. But I will tell you that any Republican is better than what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are doing.
“The American people are not going to vote for a convicted criminal. The American people are going to vote for someone who can win a general election,” Hayley add.
