Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard went nuclear on the Democrats over their “witch hunt” and persistent prosecutions of President Donald Trump.
In a video posted to X, formerly on Twitter, Tulsi Gabbard said the Trump prosecutions were part of a concerted effort by the Biden administration and the Democrats to keep Trump from potentially winning the 2024 election.
“The political prosecution of Trump is an obvious attempt by Biden/Dem elite to drain Trump’s attention and resources,” Gabbard captioned the clip.
“Their actions expose their utter contempt for democracy and the rule of law,” she said.
“…and makes laughable all of their verbiage about ‘protecting democracies around the world,'” she added.
“Anyone who’s looking at what’s happening with clear eyes and an open mind can recognize how overtly they are trying to keep President Trump off of the campaign trail,” Gabbard continued.
It is “to keep him away from being able to make his case to voters in this country of why they should elect him as President and Commander in Chief once again,” she said.
“They’re afraid that he actually could win, which is why they’re committing this such egregious abuse of power that cuts so much deeper than just going after President Trump,” she continued.
“What they’re really doing is setting this precedent that puts the United States of America not on a high platform of trying to be an example of democracy to the world, but of reducing our great country to none other than a banana republic and an abuse of power that we see happening in other countries around the world,” she added.

Gabbard is an open critic of Joe Biden and other members of her former party, who have adopted policies that go against constitutional principles like free speech and expression.
The former Democrat noted how Biden “politicized” the DOJ and used “state security apparatus to go after political opponents” such as Trump.
“A death rattle of any democracy is when a sitting president uses the state security apparatus to go after political opponents and cover up lies and crimes committed by himself or his family,” she said in August.
Gabbard said Biden made it clear he “believes himself to be not the enforcer of the rule of law but the exception to it.”
She also touched on Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and whether Joe Biden was involved, adding it seems he was “given the evidence that we are seeing.”
Meanwhile, Trump is facing four indictments for the oncoming 2024 election.
Trump has called the indictments a continuation of the same “witch hunt” against him.
“It’s a witch-hunt. It is just a continuation of a witch-hunt,” Trump told Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow.”
“They want to silence you, really silence you. And they mean silence,” Trump said.
“They are, I think they’re sick people. I think they are people that have no idea how the world works, and they have no idea the anger they cause.”
“We have a tremendous group of people in this country, and I’m not just talking about Republicans. We have them on both sides, and we have a lot of them.”
Earlier this month, Gabbard hinted she would consider running for vice president with the eventual GOP nominee.
“I think about it every day,” Gabbard told host Sean Hannity.
“I would consider any opportunity to be able to serve my country and make the most positive impact, especially at this time, where our country’s future and our democracy are at risk,” Gabbard said.
Gabbard continues to call out Biden for weaponizing the justice system against its political enemies.
Her anti-establishment credentials could make her the perfect running mate for Trump.
