Senator Ted Cruz issued some crash course education to Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) on the racist history of the Democratic Party.
Similarly, Ted Cruz also schooled AOC on the present racist activities of the Democrat party.
Of course, AOC put herself in the firing line for a grilling any liberal “political scientist” Norm Ornstein said Cruz would have been “first in line” to filibuster the Civil Rights Act and Jim Crow.
Cruz responded by stating that the Democratic Party filibustered the Civil Rights Act while many more Republicans supported it:

Now that was a rhetorical a*s whupping AOC just received. Not that she’s smart enough to realize it.
It is about time someone with national stature said it. All you need to do is look at the Congressional Record, a history of the votes on every piece of legislation. The Dems blocked both Civil Rights for Blacks AND Women’s Sufferage for decades. They only signed on to them after it became apparent they could not defeat them and they instituted a plan to co-opt both movements, making empty legislation intended to keep people down and in place while marching with them to pretend to show solidarity. Facts do not lie, but History can easily be made to.
One year after losing the fight against the Civil Rights Act, Democrats passed the great Society/War on Poverty laws. Creating “unconditional welfare”, replacing fathers and husbands with the state, replacing work with welfare, replacing marriage with getting as many women pregnant as you can to increase the welfare benefit!
This led to the destruction of black and many poor white communities across this country.
As LBJ once said, “We’ll have them n*gg*rs voting for us for 2 hunerd years!”
She (AOC) is literally an uneducated idiot that walked right into that one.
Cruz just schooled her on ‘factual History’…not the rewritten version that Democrats push.
