Shocking ariel footage captured a civilian police volunteer being attacked and stung by a swarm of angry bees, which had been terrorizing a Los Angeles neighborhood.
Fox 11’s SkyFox captured the dramatic bee attack on Tuesday.
A uniformed police volunteer with the L.A.P.D. was seen scrambling to his marked car as the bees attacked him.

The cop could be seen frantically swatting at the insects as he desperately tried to escape them.
The man virtually loses his balance and falls to the ground as the bees continue their attack.
He is then seen moving his legs, trying to pull himself up.
“This is not a normal behavior for these bees to be this angry, to want to kill you,” said Izak Kharrazi of All Valley Honey & Bee, an insect removal company called in to help with the situation, told C.B.S. News, Los Angeles.
Kharrazi also described the bees as being “mad as could be.”
The L.A.P.D. said the volunteer was hospitalized but reportedly in stable condition.
Another man working on a house in the area was also swarmed and stung by the angry bees.
Police sealed off the neighborhood and told residents to stay indoors until the bee handlers arrived to remove the insects.
Reports say the bees came from a giant hive at home in the neighborhood undergoing renovations.
According to a local bee expert, the workers fixing the property may have gotten too close to the hive, which provoked the bees into a frenzy.
