Senator Lindsey Graham told Sean Hannity on Tuesday that the U.S. should “start shooting Russian planes down,” a move which would likely spark world war three.
Graham responded to reports of two Russian Su-27 planes shooting down an unmanned U.S. drone over the Black Sea, suggetsing the U.S take down any Russian aircraft that came near American assets.
“Well, we should hold them accountable and say that, ‘If you ever get near another U.S. asset flying in international waters, your airplane will be shot down,'” Graham proclaimed.
“What would Ronald Reagan do right now? He would start shooting Russian planes down if they were threatening our assets,” he added.
Watch:
“All I can tell you is that on multiple fronts, we’re in a dangerous situation,” Grhama continued.
“Weakness creates provocation. They know they can get away with it,” Graham added.
Graham then contradicted himself by telling Joe Biden, “if you don’t change your game and up your game, we’re going to have World War III.”
Graham appears to be a major fan of the war in Ukraine and not so much a fan of peace.
Last year, in a Twitter post, Graham attacked Tesla CEO Elon Musk for urging a de-escalation in the Russian War on Ukraine.
Graham attacked Musk for being “dumb” and threatening Elon’s Tesla company.
Graham also wants regime change in Russia.
Last year, the Republican Senator said there would be no end to Russia’s war with Ukraine unless somebody assassinates President Vladimir Putin.
“How does this war end? When Russia breaks, and they take Putin out. Anything short of that, the war’s going to continue,” Graham said.
