House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer says congressional investigators probing President Joe Biden over shady foreign influence-peddling have lost contact with their top informant.
According to the Kentucky Republican and other top GOP lawmakers, Biden and his son Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from foreign entities, including China and Romania, while serving as Vice President under Obama.
“Well, unfortunately, we can’t track down the informant,” Comer told Maria Bartiromo on Fox News regarding to probe into Biden.
“We’re hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant. The whistleblower is very credible.”
While the committee hasn’t alleged Biden’s foreign payments were illegal, they have accused the Biden family of enriching themselves from his power, adding foreign sources most likely controlled Biden.
According to The Washington Times, Comer suggested that the White House was behind the informant’s unknown whereabouts, but he declined to elaborate and did not produce evidence.
He said he is withholding that information “for a later time” and that the informant is in the “spy business” and does not “make a habit of being seen a lot.”
“The nine of the 10 people that we’ve identified that have very good knowledge with respect to the Bidens, they’re one of three things,” Mr. Comer said.
“They’re either currently in court, they’re currently in jail, or they’re currently missing.”

Senator Chuck Grassley and House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer sent letters to Chris Wray and the FBI calling on the bureau to produce unclassified documents of a criminal scheme involving Joe Biden and a foreign national.
The required document is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form allegedly showing a shady arrangement of exchanging money for policy decisions.
Comer issued the subpoena after “legally protected disclosures” to Grassley’s office, The Daily Caller reported.
“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States,” Grassley said in a statement.
“What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further,” he adds.
“The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight,” Grassley concluded.
One Republican added during an interview on Fox News Wednesday: “We’ve got the onion in front of us, and we’re peeling off layers bit by bit,” he said.
Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz, stated on Twitter: “The walls are closing in on Biden.”
