The Biden administration and the DHS knew that the unprecedented surge of illegal migrants was coming to the border but did nothing, internal documents show.
The revelations also adds weight to claims that the massive surge resulting in a worsening border crisis is being orchestrated by Biden.
Just months before the record number of illegal migrants surged into the US, internal documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show that the Department of Homeland Security was aware of the impending influx but took no action.
According to the documents, Mexican immigration authorities saw a spike in apprehensions since May, indicating that border crossing was about to increase.
It was also noted that federal agencies documented a significant buildup of migrants at the border at the beginning of September.

The White House, which has struggled to counteract the surge of migrants that began when President Joe Biden took office in January of 2021, is pointing the finger at Republicans, arguing that GOP lawmakers in Congress are responsible for the problem because they have stymied the president’s proposals for immigration reform. But Biden’s problems on the southern border have put him at odds with Democratic officials, as Democratic leaders in cities like Chicago and New York have struggled to deal with tens of thousands of new arrivals, which are forcing lawmakers there to consider sharp budget cuts to pay for housing and other social services.
The revelations came on the heels of a viral clip showing a US Border Patrol agent “fist-bumping” an illegal alien after reportedly cutting a razor wire barrier.

Other instances that suggest the Biden administration is orchestrating the border surge included recent reports that thousands of illegal immigrants poured into America through “welded open” floodgates.
Those open floodgates in Tuscan are now the busiest point of illegal entry into the country.
Last month, a video posted by Fox News showed thousands of migrants on open train cars in Mexico heading towards the US southern border.

Earlier this year, republicans like Chip Roy of Texas blasted the Biden administration for allowing Mexican drug cartels to gain control of the southern border, accusing them of worsening the crisis.
“The president and this administration can go straight to hell,” Roy exclaimed in a visit to Fox Business Network last month.
“But these cartels are emboldened and empowered by a president who does not care about our southern border,” Roy said on Tuesday.
“He is allowing it to become completely run by the cartels. And if anybody has not seen ‘The Sound of Freedom,’ go see it. Go see what’s happening in the world. Go see who has the power. Go see who is, you know, abusing these young girls, these young children.”
“We’re allowing that to happen on our watch,” Congressman Roy continued. “No more, that’s my message!”
Roy also compared the situation at the border to the Alamo and told members of Congress, “If you do not secure the border now — now — you are giving up any argument you have for the American people to put their faith in you.”
“What I am seeing right now from my Republican colleagues does not give me faith that they will stand up in the breach, as did those men who stood on the wall at the Alamo,” he exclaimed.

Despite the border surge, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently claimed Biden “has done more to secure the border, to deal with this issue of immigration than anybody else. He really has.”
KJP’s remarks are arguably “gaslighting” at its finest.
The New York Post notes that nearly 7 million illegal aliens have been “encountered” on Biden’s watch, the highest number ever.
Out of those numbers, close to 3 million have been released into the US.
The border is not secure, and it’s by design.
