A viral clip is making the round showing a US Border Patrol agent “fist-bumping” an illegal alien after reportedly cutting a razor wire barrier at the southern border into Texas.
The video shows the border crosser, who expressed his gratitude by fist-bumping the agent.
The agent then stood aside to allow more illegal aliens to pour into the state.
The wire was initially installed by GOP Gov. Greg Abbott at Eagle Pass in a preventative measure to stop illegal migrants crossing.
Abbott made the announcement earlier this month:
“Texas installed razor wire in Eagle Pass to stop illegal crossings,” Abbott explained on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Today, the Biden Admin CUT that wire, opening the floodgates to illegal immigrants.”
“I immediately deployed more Texas National Guard to repel illegal crossings & install more razor wire,” the Republican governor added after accusing the Biden admin of cutting it at the border.

Former acting Customs and Border Protection commissioner Mark Morgan rushed to defend the Border Patrol agent after the “fist-bumping” incident with the illegal alien, claiming they were following orders.
” I want to be crystal clear — what’s happening is not the fault of the men and women of the US Border Patrol,” Morgan told the Daily Caller.
“They have been thrust into an untenable no-win chaotic situation. Place blame for the lawlessness at our borders where it belongs — the Biden Administration,” he added.
“If you want to stop the invasion of people, drugs, criminals, and national security threats pouring across our borders, President Biden could do so tomorrow with a stroke of a pen!” Morgan continued.
“We must not fall into their trap to allow the scapegoating of the Border Patrol.”
The video is now raising concerns about the border crisis on the whole, not only at the hands at of the Biden administration, but also for authorities who are supposed to be enforcing the law.
According to a CBP spokesman, Border Patrol may remove whatever barriers are put up at the border if they believe it’s necessary to apprehend illegal border crossers.
Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens also noted that agents have a duty to act if they believe illegal immigrants could be harmed in any way.
“If they start getting swept away by the currents, if they start succumbing to the environment, the extreme temperatures, the humidity, … and my men and women see that, they are not going to let somebody die or get into harm’s way,” Owens said Tuesday from Eagle Pass.
Despite Owens’ claims, the illegal alien in the video did not appear distressed, espeiclaly since he seemed happy after “fist-bumping” the border patrol agent. Nor were there any life-threatening issues when a National Guardsman was caught using a ladder to help migrants scale a structure to enter the US.
Other instances include a report from September that revealed the Biden administration allowed thousands of illegal immigrants to pour into America through “welded open” floodgates on the Arizona border.
The open floodgates in Tuscan are now the busiest point of illegal entry into the country.
There was also a video showing thousands of migrants on open train cars in Mexico heading towards the US southern border.

Call me a “conspiracy theorist,” but it seems that record illegal immigration is the goal of the Biden administration, and the media narrative that depicts the issue as just a border enforcement failure is a smoke screen.
The video does not suggest that Border Patrol has a tricky balancing act between keeping people safe and securing the border. But it’s hard not to draw your own conclusions in the context of the rampant gaslighting from the media.
It could also be argued that the “fist bump” was a punch in the gut for every American who will suffer the dire consequences of the agent’s actions.
