Hollywood leftist and actress Bette Midler had a meltdown after losing her blue check verification on Twitter, calling Twitter CEO Elon Musk a “worm.”
Midler moaned she was now “unverified” before proceeding to attack the Twitter CEO.
“Elon took my blue check away! I’m unverified! After all these years and thousands of tweets and free content, this worm has the nerve to de-certify me!”
Midler then appeared to take a veiled jab at Musk’s rocket explosion.
“Douche, is the funniest thing you’ve ever done. Let that sink in. Sorry to hear about your rocket,” she wrote.
Bette Midler then followed up with another attack on Elon Musk:
“Elon, deciding that I’m not me, I’m a fake, & obliging ME, who has contributed mightily to your platform, (at least until you “tweaked the algorithm & tanked my metrics”) to pay monthly because you don’t have enough money & you’re humiliated b/c everyone thinks you’re a pathetic.”
As The Daily Fetched reported earlier, Musk began removing legacy blue ticks from large official accounts, including Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates, and others, in a brutal purge against those who refused to pay the subscription fee to keep their verification badges.
Now, only government accounts, such as President Joe Biden’s official Twitter account, can get free verification.
However, individuals and businesses must pay $8 a month for the blue check mark.
But some stars, including NBA star LeBron James, declined Twitter’s offer to return his blue checkmark.
Meanwhile, Establishment media outlets have been losing their right to hide the fact that they are government funded.
Earlier this month, Musk removed the “state-affiliated media” on NPR’s account, replacing it with a “government-funded media” label.
The Twitter CEO then followed suit with PBS and CBC.
Musk said Twitter was essentially a “glorified activist organization” before he took over the company
He said slashing Twitter’s workforce by 80% was easy because he wasn’t concerned about censoring Twitter users.

Obviously she can’t afford it.
If Bette is too proud to ask her fans to crowdsource the $8 per month, she could collect $8 worth of bottles and cans out of trash bins for recycling.
