Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff was heckled during the Monday House Judiciary Committee field hearing after the Democrat lawmaker began attacking former president Donald Trump.
During the hearing, which focused on exploding crime in New York City, a man stood up as Schiff began his anti-Trump drivel.
“The GOP Leadership and Congress doing what it has done best the last 6 years and that is to act as the criminal defense counsel for Donald J. Trump…” Schiff said.
A man then stood up and heckled Schiff shouting, “You’re a scumbag!” before he was escorted out of the hearing by Capitol police.

Jerry Nadler similarly and indirectly attacked the former president claiming Jordan convened the hearing because he was “doing the bidding for Donald Trump.”
The committee hearing was to highlight Bragg’s soft-on-crime policies while focusing on political attacks on former President Donald Trump.
