Climate activist Greta Thunberg deleted a tweet from 2018 which linked to an article claiming climate change would end human life on earth by the year 2023.
This is yet another embarrassing spectacle for the so-called climate change “expert,” as she has repeatedly demanded that the United Nations declare a “systemwide climate emergency.”
“A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years,” Thunberg’s tweet caption read.
Unfortunately for Thunberg, the internet is forever.
Political commentator Jack Posobiec took a screenshot of the tweet in which Greta Thunberg predicted an apolocaypse in 2023, and asked her why she deleted it.
“Hi @GretaThunberg! Why did you delete this?” Posobiec asked.
Thunberg’s tweet linked to an article written by Grit Post, which is now shut down. However, the headline tells you all you need to know.
Here is a reminder of Thunberg’s famous “how dare you” speech to world leaders.
Perhaps Thunberg was mentored by environmental doomer Al Gore, who has frequently made many failed predictions of disasters because of climate change.
Or maybe she’s been hanging out with Vice President Kamala Harris who recently claimed anxiety in young children was due to climate change.
Failed climate change “end of the world” predictions are nothing new.
Left-wing publication the Guardian newspaper wrote in 2004 that a “secret report” from the Pentagon to President George W. Bush said climate change would “destroy us,” The New York Post noted.
The predictions included:
- Major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas
- Britain is plunged into a “Siberian” climate by 2020
- Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine, and widespread rioting will erupt across the world
The publication’s third prediction may be more accurate, but that wouldn’t result from climate change.
