Vice President Kamala Harris was mocked on Twitter after she claimed anxiety in young children was due to climate change, describing it as “climate mental health” problems.
Perhaps if Democrats and the media were not so hellbent on subjecting children to an onslaught of global warming ‘doom,’ there wouldn’t the so-called problem of climate change related anxiety
During an appearance at the “Aspen Ideas: Climate Conference” in Miami Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, Harris told the crowd that climate change is now affecting children’s mental health.
Harris said young climate activists told her they were struggling with “climate mental health.”
“One of the young leaders was talking to me about climate mental health. I said, ‘Tell me what’s going on with your peers,'” Harris said.
“I said, ‘I think I can understand that, but unpack it for me.’ And she talked about how her peers are thinking about it,” Harris said of the conversion with the young activist.
The VP went on to describe how the young woman helped her understand her mental health problem.
“One example is, you know, whether, when they’re ready, could they start a family — worried about what that would mean and the stress of it,” Harris added.
Harris continued:
“They were talking about in terms of their peers trying to figure out, you know, they’re going to have to get a job and they’re gonna have to make a living — but what they can do and how can they adapt the education that they are having now to their activism?”

However, Harris didn’t fare well with responses to her claims on Twitter.
Some users highlighted the fact that because Harris and other left-wing politicians have created an environment of alarmism surrounding climate change, it is now negatively affecting children.
Heritage Foundation research fellow Delano Squire blasted Harris in a tweet:
“‘ Climate mental health’? We are being led by some of the most fearful, neurotic, and narcissistic people in history. Pack animals typically put those types way in the back. In this country, that dysfunction is part of their appeal.”
Earth science professor Dr. Matthew M. Wielicki also slammed the Vice President, arguing that she and other climate crazies were responsible for causing such stress in children.
“Climate alarmism is mental health abuse of young people. Many of my students also expressed concern about having children because the alarmists have convinced them the planet is ending. This will be the lasting legacy of climate alarmism,” Wielicki tweeted.
Meanwhile, Democrat Farrukh Shamsi cited the speech, which added more weight behind claims the Biden administration can’t run America.
“We have a problem in the White House. Biden and Harris have both lost the ability to lead,” Shamsi tweeted.
Texas GOP chairman Matt Mackowiak tweeted a simple yet brutal assessment of Harris and her climate cohorts: “These people are insane and fundamentally unserious.”
Daniel Turner, the Anti-green energy activism group Power the Future founder, tweeted, “Kamala Harris is worried about ‘climate mental health.’ What about the mental health of laid off Keystone XL pipeline workers?”
Reporter Jim Stinson wrote, “The main warning sign for a kid like this is the fact he asked the question.”

I guess that means that anyone who moves from the South to the North will get rid of anxiety. I did that and I still have anxiety and it is way colder in Indiana than Mississippi.
