President Joe Biden claimed during a Labor Day speech in Pittsburgh that he ran for president to “restore decency” and “treat people with respect.”
But Biden’s remarks come just days after demonizing half of America as a “violent extremist threat to the nation.”

Biden made the same claims in another speech in Milwaukee, saying “extreme MAGA Republicans” propagate “violence and hatred” and that those “in Congress have chosen to go backwards to full of anger, violence, hate and division.”
When a crowd member challenged Biden on his claims, he called him an “an idiot” and stated, “Extreme MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and our social security, they embrace political violence.”
Last week, just days after Biden described Trump supporters as “ultra-MAGA Republicans” and “semi-fascists,” he warned how democracy is at risk from Trumpism.
“It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something — it’s like semi-fascism,” Biden said during a speech last week in Rockville, MD.
