MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow suffered a bizarre meltdown on Wednesday over the likely prospect of Donald Trump being elected again in 2024, claiming he will put the news station on trial and “execute us.”
Trump “wants to put MSNBC on trial for treason so that he can execute us,” Maddow said on “The View.”
Maddow was responding to co-host Sara Haines saying that Trump “wants to cancel the news, so they’re done.”

Trump said last month that he investigate Comcast, the parent company of NBC News and MSNBC for their Country Threatening Treason.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote:
“They are almost all dishonest and corrupt, but Comcast, with its one-side and vicious coverage by NBC News, and in particular MSNBC, often and correctly referred to as MSDNC (Democrat National Committee!), should be investigated for its ‘Country Threatening Treason.'”
“I say up front, openly, and proudly that when I WIN the presidency of the United States, they and others of the LameStream Media will be thoroughly scrutinized for their knowingly dishonest and corrupt coverage of people, things, and events,” he said.
“Why should NBC, or any other of the corrupt & dishonest media companies, be entitled to use the very valuable Airwaves of the USA, FREE?”
Trump concluded:
“They are a true threat to Democracy and are, in fact, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”
“The Fake News Media should pay a big price for what they have done to our once great Country!”
Trump’s argument is valid, especially given the personal attacks and leftist opinions the network spouts.
For instance, MSNBC columnist Dean Obeidallah said Trump “must die in prison” to send a message to the public that “you can’t do this.”
“I think Donald Trump must die in prison because I don’t care if he was 45 years old,” the far-left radio host said in a recent interview with a Mediaite reporter.
Trump’s remarks came a week after appearing on “Meet the Press” with host Kristen Welker.
The former President is a major opponent of the fake news establishment media and regularly calls out stations for their biased news reporting.
Maddow said Trump “basically portraying a future for America … in which we don’t have another election after that.”
She added that he talks about how “the elections are all rigged, that the democratic process can’t be trusted.”
As we know, Maddow became the face of the two-year investigation into the debunked collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
The leftist host dedicated her news segments to pushing the Russian collusion narrative and whipping up division.
Throughout 2017 and 2018, Maddow spent most of her time suffering meltdowns about whether Trump colluded with Russia.
Maddow once told viewers:
“Above all else, we know this about the now-famous dossier — Christopher Steele had this story before the rest of America did. And he got it from Russian sources.”
