Police Find Female Designer’s Clothing in Ex-Biden Official Sam Brinton’s Home

Police returned articles of clothing belonging to a Tanzanian fashion designer after discovering the items in ex-Biden official Sam Brinton’s home.

The clothes were found when police were executing a search warrant on the home of the ex-Department of Energy (DOE) official.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police Department confirmed the articles of clothing were returned to Asya Khamsin after finding them in Sam Brinton’s home.

Khamsin alleged that Brinton publicly wore clothing she designed, which was in her bag she reported missing at Ronald Reagan National Airport last year.

Earlier this year, MWAA police officers executed a search warrant on Brinton’s Maryland residence in connection to the case.

“The MWAA Police Department can confirm we returned the victim’s property, and police retained photos of the evidence for prosecution,” MWAA spokesperson Crystal Nosal told Fox News.

“The case is still under adjudication, and we cannot release more detailed information,” they added.

Brinton was later charged with felony rand larceny of items worth more than $1,000.

However, the preliminary hearing in the case has been delayed until December.

In February, Khamsin told Fox News that she photographs in new articles showing Brinton wearing clothes with her custom designs.

Khamsin said she had packed those same clothes in a bag, which later vanished at the airport on March 9, 2018.

“I saw the images. Those were my custom designs, which were lost in that bag in 2018,” Khamsin said.

“He wore my clothes, which was stolen,” she added.

Khamsin had flown to Washington, D.C., to attend an event to display her clothing.

However, after Brinton stole her clothes, she was unable to participate in the event.

Khamsin later filed reports with the MWAA and Delta Air Lines after her clothes went missing, but the case went cold.

But after seeing photographs of Brinton wearing the clothes he had sold, Khamsin filed a report with police in Houston.

The Department later referred the case to the FBI.

“The MWAA returned to Asyakhamsin various parcels of retrieved clothing after the search warrant was executed. These items were returned in sealed evidence bags,” Peter Hansen, a Washington, D.C.-based attorney representing Khamsin, said.

Khamsin also filed a civil suit relating to the theft against Brinton on Friday.

In May, Brinton made headlines after being arrested as a ‘fugitive of justice,’ just six months after being fired from the Department.

The drag queen, who identifies as non-binary, was fired earlier this year after admitting to stealing a woman’s suitcase from the luggage carousel during a work trip.

Last month, Brinton agreed to undergo a mental health evaluation after receiving no jail time for an airport baggage theft the previous year.

Brinton, however, escaped jail time in two separate cases in Minnesota and Nevada involving luggage thefts.

The former Biden official was charged with stealing a traveler’s baggage worth a total of $2,325 from the luggage carousel.

In December, prosecutors charged Brinton with grand larceny of an item valued between $1,200 and $5,000.

Police accused Brinton of stealing a suitcase estimated to cost $3,670 on July 6 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

The bag contained jewelry valued at $1,700, $850 worth of clothes, and $500 worth of makeup.

Before the theft occurred, Brinton was on an official taxpayer-funded trip to the National Security Site in Las Vegas.

Last year, the DOE confirmed Brinton had left the agency but wouldn’t comment on the reason for the departure.
