A whopping 14,000 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in Arizona one week alone, sources from U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
More than 2,000 apprehensions of illegal immigrants were made in the Tucson sector.
While illegal border crossings typically dip around the beginning of the year, however, the trend under Joe Biden shows that the numbers are not letting up.
“If no action is taken – buckle up for the rest of the year, if the last three years are any indication,” Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported.
“Especially if migrants feel they need to get in before Biden is potentially voted out of office.”
NEW: Per CBP sources, yesterday saw just over 7,000 migrant encounters at the southern border for the second day in a row, led by Tucson, AZ sector w/ over 2,000 apprehensions of illegal immigrants. There were also over 1,000 known gotaways yesterday.

Every year under Biden,…
The border crisis is now the primary issue for votes heading into the 2024 election.
This comes as former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden traveled to the Texas border last week.
During Biden’s visit to the border, he refused to address the death of Georgia college student Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student killed by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, instead opting to ramble about climate change.
“I love some of my Neanderthal friends who still think there’s no climate change,’ Biden said.

Meanwhile, Trump visited Eagle Pass, a hot spot where Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and Biden have battled over the adminsiatrions handling of illegal immigration.
Since Biden took office, he has rolled back many of Trump’sTrump’si immigration policies, issuing more than 90 executive actions.
Now, the majority of Americans want a border wall.
The Daily Mail reported:
A new poll shows that the majority of Americans now support a wall on the southern border as the issue of illegal immigration intensifies ahead of the 2024 election.
A Monmouth poll released Monday shows that 53 percent of Americans now support building a wall on the southern border with Mexico. Forty-six percent still oppose it.
Four years ago, in a 2019 poll, only 42 percent of Americans supported the idea.
The poll shows that 86 percent of Republicans support a border wall, but also 58 percent of Independents. Only 17 percent of Democrats support the idea.
The poll also shows that 84 percent of voters see illegal immigration as a very serious or somewhat serious issue, a number that has grown significantly since 2019.
The news comes after an Arizona rancher, John Ladd, said he found 17 dead bodies on his land, which spans 10.5 miles along the U.S. southern border.
Watch
Trump recently warned of a looming terrorist attack due to Biden’s border policies.
During a speech at the National Rifle Association’s annual gathering, Trump said:
“Under Biden, millions of illegals are now pouring into our country, and these include terrorists,” Trump said.
“You have a 100% chance of a major terror attack in the not-too-distant future. It’s a terrible thing to say. … Remember the travel ban?”
“We didn’t take people from countries with the massive terrorism attacks. We don’t want our shopping centers blown up. We don’t want our people destroyed. We don’t want dead children where a family will never be the same.”
