A new CBS poll showed that voters are missing the economy under President Donald Trump as he took his biggest lead yet over Joe Biden by 4 points.
During Trump’s appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February 2021, he asked the crowd, “Do you miss me yet?”
He had only been out of office for a month; however, as it stands today, that question could not be more relevant.
The CBS poll asked voters about the economy, with 65 percent responding that the Trump era was excellent to good, compared with Biden.
As for sleepy Joe, just 38 percent rated the economy as excellent or good.
The poll found a whopping 59 percent said the economy under Biden was fair or poor, and just 28 said the same of the Trump economy.
The polls show voters are sick of Biden, with Trump enjoying a 52 percent-48 percent lead over the president.
CBS’s Margaret Brennan called the results “Trump’s largest general election lead yet.”

Meanwhile, CBS’s executive director of elections and surveys, Anthony Salvanto, said Biden has done little to inspire Democrats.
“A lot of Joe Biden’s numbers are in part lower because of that,” Salvanto said.
“His campaign has work to do to drive up that motivation. And he’s not doing as well as he did in 2020 with some key Democratic groups,” he added.
“I would add this though, Margaret. And I think it’s important. Joe Biden is trailing Donald Trump when we ask, who has a vision for the country?”
“And that speaks across party lines in many ways. And what I think is important here is that these are uncertain times in the minds of many voters,” he said.

“When people see uncertainty, even if they don’t rate things right now as good, and they don’t, they want a road map. They want to know where things are going. And that’s a key gap that I’m going to watch over the next few months,” he said.
The poll was conducted on 2,159 U.S. adults between February 28 and March 1., with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percent.
The news comes just a week after a poll revealed that 86 percent of Americans believe Biden is not mentally fit to serve as president.
As The Daily Fetched reported last month:
According to a poll by ABC News/Ipsos following the Special Counsel report that described Biden as “an elderly man with a poor memory,” meaning he should not be subject to charges from the classified documents scandal, Americans think Biden is incapable of serving.
The polls found 73 percent of Democrats think Biden is too old to serve.
Mainstream media outlets like ABC News attempted to cover for Biden by also claiming Donald Trump is too old to serve.
This week, Trump told the crowd at his rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, that Biden was attempting to overthrow the U.S. with his open border policies.
“Biden’s conduct on our border is by any definition a conspiracy to overthrow the United States of America. He talks about democracy. He is a danger to democracy,” Trump said.
Trump added:
“A central question in this election is whether the foreign armies Joe Biden has smuggled across our border will be allowed to stay or whether they’ll be told to get the hell out of here and go back home. We’ll take them back home.”
