President Joe Biden’s overall health and age have become such a problem that the U.S. Secret Service have be forced to step in.
An agent has now been assigned to monitor Biden’s cling onto Air Force One to ensure he doesn’t fall , The New York Times reported.
Biden, 81, is the oldest president ever to serve.
The president’s declining mental acuity has become more evident as concerns about his age mount.
Last September, Biden almost tumbled down the stairs of Air Force One as he arrived in Michigan.
There have also been multiple instances of him falling publicly during the election season., not to mention him stumbling while getting off the plane in Detroit.
Biden’s instability has gotten so bad, that his team has made a concerted effort to have him wear tennis shoes to avoid more embarrassing falls.
The president also receives physical therapy from Drew Contreras, who suggested several exercises to improve his balance.
The news comes just weeks after the special counsel Robert Hur reported on Biden’s decimated mental condition.
The report delivered a devastating blow to Biden’s re-election hopes as it’s attempted to explain criminal charges weren’t levied as he is just a forgetful old man incapable of criminal intent.
“Mr. Biden will likely present himself to the jury, as he did during his interview with our office, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur wrote in explaining his rationale for refusing prosecution.
“…It would be difficult to convince a jury they should convict him – by then a former president who will be at least well into his eighties – of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
“Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency, when he was a private citizen,” the report concluded.
Hur said in the report Biden suffered from “diminished faculties in advancing age.”
“Every time he (Biden) talks, he’s confused,” Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Ga., a Marine and former emergency room doctor, told Just the News.
“If he’s not taken by the arm and shown where to go, he doesn’t know where to walk. Biden could be at the White House and try to go through the wrong entrance. He could be on stage and not know which direction to go. He doesn’t know who’s standing next to him. Biden doesn’t even know where he’s going,” McCormick said.
“This is just a confused old man. Now, the whole problem with the whole prosecution issue is I’m more concerned about presidential decisions,” he noted.
“We’re talking about a guy who has the keys to nuclear arms. You’re talking about a guy who makes decisions on who to attack,” he added.
