Brazilian-born health influencer Mila De Jesus died of a suspected cardiac arrest on Friday at just 35 years old.
De Jesus shot to fame on Instagram with videos and posts of her weight loss transformation.
The weight loss influencer, who lived in Boston, passed away just four months after getting married to her husband, George Kowszik.
The Instagram star leaves behind four children from a previous marriage.
Just months ago, De Jesus announced she was suffering from psoriasis — a skin disease that causes scaly patches and itching.
“It’s been three months dealing with this situation; 80% of my body is affected,” De Jesus wrote in October.
“Juggling doctors, medications, ointments, and taking a deep breath.”
The Brazilian-born content creator underwent a major weight loss surgery six years ago, which she commemorated in an Instagram post with before and after pictures.

“Six years since a decision that changed my life in various aspects,” De Jesus captioned the composite.
“On one side, the 22-year-old Mila, and on the other, the 35-year-old Mila.”
The influencer’s death prompted a massive outpouring of posts by those devastated over her loss.
“Root follower here, since the beginning of YouTube,” wrote one crestfallen fan. “So sad, my God a lot of light, Mila. Rest in peace.”
Another wrote, “All my most sincere condolences.”
Long-time friend and businesswoman Eduarda Gaia mourned De Jesus’ death:
“I will remember our last conversation on the phone forever!” she said in a statement.
“I love you so much, friend.”
One of De Jesus’s children, Pedro Marçal, also paid tribute, writing:
“Rest, mom. I love you so much and no one will ever love me like you. God bless you.”
