Hollywood actor Robert De Niro is beginning to panic as the 2024 election draws closer, with the prospect of former President Donald Trump taking back the White House.
De Niro voiced concern that if Trump wins, he “will come looking for me.”
The actor made the remarks during a Friday appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
“If he wins the election, you won’t be on the show anymore,” De Niro said.
“He’ll come looking for me. There’ll be things that happen that none of us can imagine,” he added.

De Niro warned that Trump’s reelection in November would be a “nightmare.”
“We wanna live in a world that we want to live in and enjoy living in, or live in a nightmare?” he asked.
“Vote for Trump and you’ll get the nightmare, vote for Biden and we’ll be back to normalcy,” he said during Friday’s show.
However, De Niro failed to mention Biden’s increasingly prominent unpopularity in the polls due to his open border policies and other international calamities wreaking havoc on America.
Inflation has soared under Biden, making it difficult for families to afford the basics like food, energy, insurance, and rent.
Meanwhile, Biden has allowed more than seven million illegal aliens to pour into the United States.
Even De Niro’s hometown of New York is buckling under the enormous influx of illegals, with Mayor Eric Adams (D) saying the city is “out of room, literally.”
“I just don’t want to feel the way I did the many months after the election in 2016, where we couldn’t believe that it happened,” De Niro said.
“He’s such a mean, nasty, hateful person.”
Last October, De Niro called Trump “evil” in an unhinged speech at the New Republic’s Stop Trump Summit in New York City.
“I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump,” De Niro said in the speech.
“When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly.”
“Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there,” De Niro stated
“[Trump] tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as ‘honor among thieves.'”
“Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong. Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story—but—they have a moral code, however warped. Donald Trump does not.”
