Hollywood anti-Trump actor Robert De Niro has taken to slamming Donald Trump and his supporters once again, calling the MAGA movement and the former president “insane” during a press conference a the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday.
De Niro even compared Trump to the murderous villain in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon.
The new movie, which premiered at Cannes this weekend, stars De Niro plays William Hale, a cattle baron convicted of murdering a member of the Osage nation over oil rights in 1929.
De Niro told reporters on Sunday that former president Trump is a manifestation of the “evil still exists in the world.”
“We see it today, of course. We all know who I’m going to talk about, but I won’t say the name — because that guy is stupid,” De Niro began.
“Imagine if you’re smart. Even Hale was smart in many ways,” he added.
“It’s something that is systemic, and that’s the scary part about it.”

De Niro continued:
“Look, with Trump; there are people who still think he can do a good job. Imagine how insane that is.”
While Trump was president, Robert De Niro frequently suffered regular meltdowns over the commander-in-chief, often using vulgar profanity.
The actor famously screamed “F*ck Trump!” multiple times on stage at the Tony Awards in 2018.
“I’m gonna say one thing: F*ck Trump!” he stated, fists clenched.
“It’s no longer down with Trump; it’s f*ck Trump!”
De Niro’s verbal tirade was met with a standing ovation from Hollywood elites at the time.

During the 2018 National Board of Review Awards gala, De Niro also dedicated his stage time to attacking Trump.
“Today, the world is suffering from the real Donald Trump. Come on. You know. What are we talking about?” De Niro said.
“This f*cking idiot is the president. It’s the Emperor’s New Clothes – the guy is a f—ing fool,” De Niro said.
He added:
“Our baby-in-chief – the j—off-in-chief, I call him – has put the press under siege, ridiculing it through trying to discredit it through outrageous attacks and lies.”
In 2020, De Niro took direct aim at Trump supporters.
“I’m not like politics, but I was so angry and so enraged and confounded that he would actually behave the way he did and that people bought it,” De Niro said on MSNBC.
“Now I see many, many, many people in the country feel this way. I’m sad about other people who don’t,” he added.
“They’ve accepted him and would have voted for him and have voted for him. I don’t know why. That’s all that it was from the very beginning. Just how could this guy behave this way? That’s all.”

What does DeNiro know? Seems, not much at all while Trump has carried out his duties well without yelling about how he wants to beat them up, as does DeNiro, Biden and others on the Left.
