Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempted to resurrect the baseless conspiracy theory that Russian President Vladimir Putin is controlling Donald Trump with “something financial.”
During an appearance on MSNBC with Jen Psaki, Pelosi claimed Trump is a fanboy” of Putin, even going as far as to claim her “encourages” the Russian leader to invade NATO countries.
“Putin is among the top three or four evil people in the world,” Pelosi ranted.
“What does he have on Donald Trump that he has to be constantly catering to Putin?”
The former House Speaker also claimed that Trump has “brought disgrace,” to the White House, adding that he “didn’t consider it an honour” to serve as President or defend the Constitution.
“He is a person without values,” Pelosi said.
“He looks like he’s going to be a person without dollars either,” she added, crowing about Trump’s indictments.
“I don’t know what [Putin] has on him, but it’s probably financial, or something on the come, something he expects to get,” Pelosi ranted.
She also claimed Trump is “telling Putin to go into these countries, NATO countries,” but failed to say what countries she was referring to, adding, “NATO is there to stop Russia, to keep Russia out.”

Pelosi’s unhinged rant came just a day after Hillary Clinton claimed that Trump is “enamoured with Putin,” claiming he will use the Army to round up Americans if he takes back the White House.
“If this [foreign aid] bill from the Senate were ever put on the floor of the House, it would pass… overwhelmingly,” Hillary Clinton said.
Clinton added that House Republicans “are not doing America’s business, they’re doing Donald Trump’s business… He’s a wannabe dictator.
“Why is Donald Trump so enamored of Putin?” Hillary Clinton said.
