More bets are being placed on former First Lady Michelle Obama winning the presidency than Joe Biden, despite her not announcing she is even running (yet).
Michelle Obama has been hitting the headlines recently, voicing concerns about the likelihood of Donald Trump becoming president again.
“I am terrified about what could possibly happen,” Obama said earlier this month.

The sudden regular appearance in the media has many speculating that Michelle Obama is preparing to run.
According to GB News, Betfair exchange has seen 10.9 percent of bets in 2024 placed on Obama as the winner.
Meanwhile, Biden only garnered 10.6 percent to become president.
Donald Trump’s odds have shortened to 6/5 (45% chance), making him the favorite, While Biden is 2/1 (33% chance).

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said:
“Astonishingly, more bets have been taken on Obama to be the next US president than incumbent Joe Biden so far in 2024.”
Trump is now the 6/5 favourite to win the US election, his shortest ever odds since the market opened.”
“In fact, a whopping £45,000 has been matched on Betfair Exchange in the past 24 hours in favour of Trump making a triumphant return to the White House in the latter part of the year,” Rosbottom continued, adding “Looking at the overall picture, he completely dominates it.”
Last week, we reported on an article by New York Post columnist Cindy Adams, who wrote that Michelle Obama surveyed “Dem biggies” about a potential presidential candidacy and reportedly told a gathering of CEOs in New York she was running.

JP Morgan Asset Management strategist Michael Cembalest also predicted Biden would not make it to the 2024 election in November and would drop out.
