Former first lady Melania Trump declared her full, unwavering support for her husband’s 2024 presidential bid, expressing her faith that Donald Trump can “lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again.”
“My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again,” Melania Trump told Fox News months after Donald Trump’s presidential bid announcement in November.
The former first lady quashed any speculation perpetrated by the leftist media about lack of support for her husband, reaffirming Trump “has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
Melania also clarified that she will use her position as First Lady to build upon her “Be Best” initiative, focusing on helping children.
The “Be Best” initiative, which focused on tackling opioid abuse, online safety, and fostering the well-being of children, has only grown since Melania left the White House.
“At the present time, there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, and there is less than a 3 percent chance of former foster children completing their college education. In fact, many end up on the street, homeless,” she said, adding that her goal was “reduce the gap and increase access to higher education for those who leave the foster care system.”
Melania said her priorities would not change if she returned to the White House.
“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” she told Fox News Digital.
“If additional problems arise, I will take the time to study them and understand their root causes.”
“My goal would be to ensure that every child has the support and resources they need to reach their full potential,” she added.
Melania Trump’s remarks come months after her husband formally announced his presidential bid.
Currently, Trump dominates the polls, as Joe Biden continues to plummet.
As The Daily Fetched reported last week:
Most Republicans now say former President Donald Trump is by far the “strongest candidate” for 2024, according to a recent survey from The Economist/YouGov.
The survey asked respondents, “Do you think that Donald Trump is the strongest candidate that Republicans could nominate for president in 2024?”
Fifty-four percent of Republicans said “yes,” Trump is the strongest candidate.
Meanwhile, even more, Trump 2020 voters, 57 percent, agreed that Trump is the strongest candidate for 2024.
A further 54 percent of conservative voters also said Trump was the “strongest candidate” as well.
