Debate moderator Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back when asking Chris Christie about his abysmal poll numbers and his almost non-existent favorability during the fourth Republican presidential primary debate this week.
Kelly highlighted major criticisms of Christie’s campaign, in which he continuely attacks former President Donald Trump.
“His approval rating with Republicans is currently at 81 percent yours is at 25,” Kelly began.
“Your best state is New Hampshire, and even there two-thirds of GOP voters say they would be angry and disappointed if you won.”
Kelly continued:
“Respectfully, governor, you have not stopped Mr. Trump and voters may wonder how you could possibly become the nominee of a party, and voters may wonder how you could possibly become the nominee of a party that does not appear to like you very much.”
Christie appeared visibly embarassed and somehwhat annoyed by Kelly’s question.
He then pivoted to attacking Trump, despite the fact the Kelly had just brought up the fact he is using his campaign to target the former president.
“You want to know why those poll numbers are where they are?” Christie asked.
“Because folks like these three guys on the stage make it seem like his conduct is acceptable,” Christie added.
“Let me make it clear, his conduct is unacceptable, he’s unfit, and be careful of what you’re going to get.”

“If you ever got another Donald Trump term, he’s letting you know, I am your retribution,” he continued as he echoed the “dictator” talking point parroted by mainstream media and RINOs like Liz Cheney.

Earlier thsi week, Cheney claimed that if Trump wins and Republicans win a majority in Congress in the 2024 election, the United States will be under a significant threat.
“In my view, fundamentally, there is a choice. You can’t be for Donald Trump and for the Constitution. You have to choose.”
“We are facing a situation with respect to the 2024 election where it’s an existential crisis, and we have to ensure that we don’t have a situation where an election that might be thrown into the House of Representatives is overseen by a Republican majority.”
