Fashion mogul and now former Satanist Kat Von D was baptized into Christianity after ditching her witchcraft books.
The famous tattoo artist posted a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday with a cross emoji showing her wrapped in white while receiving her baptism at a church.
A year ago, she announced she was throwing away her possessions, which promoted occult witchcraft and satanism.
“I’ve always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I just had to ask myself what is my relationship with this content?” she wrote on Instagram.
“And the truth is, I just don’t want to invite any of these things into our family’s lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, collecting dust on my shelves,” she added.
“I don’t know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the last few years I’ve come to some pretty meaningful realizations—many of them revolving around the fact that I got a lot of things wrong in my past,” she said.
She clarified that she did judge those who were “into this stuff,” “but right now, it’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place.”
She added, “I want to surround myself and my family with love and light.”
SURVIVOR KAT VON D GETS BAPTIZED AFTER RENOUNCING THE OCCULT— LIZ CROKIN (@LizCrokin) October 3, 2023
Kat Von D posted a video of herself giving her life to Jesus Christ at a baptism in a church. A year ago she announced she was throwing away any possessions she had that promoted the occult and witchcraft.
The ceremony was held in a church and featured a group of Kat Von D’s friends.
“Katherine von Drachenberg, upon your profession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His Divine command, I baptize you, my sister, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” says the pastor in the video.
Kat Von D moved to the red state of Indiana after becoming fed up with soaring crime in Los Angeles.
The model announced she was leaving “corrupt” Los Angeles and reopening her business in the small Indiana town where she recently bought a home.
The artist said she was fed up with “all that’s been taking place in California, with terrible policies, tyrannical government overreach, ridiculous taxing, amongst so much more corruption.”
She added, “We just felt the need to plant roots in a small town where my son can be free to play and where we can eventually retire one day.”
Kat Von D took an even more drastic turn when she announced she would be throwing out her witchcraft and magic books, and giving herself to Christianity.
In 2020, Kat revealed that she was abused at the Provo Canyon School in Utah.
The school was the same place where Paris Hilton also fell victim to abuse and exposed her traumatic experience in a documentary.
Kat said she was mentally and physically abused at the school, leaving her suffering from PTSD and other traumas.
“Thank you, Paris Hilton for giving me the courage to share about being locked up for half a year, without ever seeing the sun, at Provo Canyon School in Utah,” Kat wrote in an Instagram post.
“I spent those six traumatic months of my teenage years, only to leave with major PTSD and other traumas due to the unregulated, unethical, and abusive protocols of this ‘school’ — and cannot believe this place is STILL OPERATING,” she added.
