The ex-wife of billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott, has dumped the majority of her whopping $640 million in donations to left-wing causes.
Funds will be funneled to progressive initiatives, including:
Enabling transgender athletes
Legal aid for illegal immigrants
Climate change
Scott announced she donated $640 million to 361 nonprofits through her philanthropic organization, Yield Giving, The Blaze reported.
Two hundred seventy-nine nonprofits received $2 million from Scott, while two organizations were gifted $1 million each, according to ABC News.
According to the Yield Giving website, the organization has donated more than $17.3 billion to over 2,300 nonprofits since 2022.
In a fresh round of donations, Scott will direct $122 million for legal assistance to migrant-advocacy organizations, The New York Post reported.
Scott also allocated funds to the Florida Immigrant Coalition. This far-left organization works to “block anti-immigrant agenda in Florida,” deliver “college in-state tuition for undocumented students and strong wage theft ordinances to protect workers.”
The Florida Immigration Coalition recently slammed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, declaring he must be stopped” because he is “making a mockery of the suffering of these immigrants.”
Another illegal immigration advocacy organization, the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition, also received a grant from Scott for $2 million.
“For 20 years we have worked to build immigrant and refugee power, and this gift will catalyze our efforts to organize communities statewide, advance our vision of a multiracial democracy, and build a Tennessee where everyone belongs,” the organiaztion said.
Scott gifted $117 million to 67 prisoner-advocacy groups to help convicted criminals.
Further, Scott sent $72 million to 43 organizations advocating for “gender identity,” “sexual orientation,” and other LGBTQ causes.
Among those organizations was a nonprofit helping biological boys who identify as transgender individuals to participate in female sports.
Scott donated $18 million to 10 groups pushing green energy and climate change initiatives.
Scott walked away with a 4% stake in Amazon worth $38.3 billion after her divorce from Bezos in 2029.
She now secures her place as the second-wealthiest person in the world and the third-richest woman in the United States, with a net worth of $36.3 billion, according to Forbes.
