Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman has been caught on surveillance footage removing emergency warning signs to the ground before pulling the fire alarm in September.
The footage below shows Bowman immediately fleeing the scene after pulling the alarm without attempting to open the door.

Last month, Bowman claimed he pulled the Cannon House Office Building alarm thinking it would open the door.
However, many Republicans accused Bowman of trying to shut down the Capitol and delay the vote in order to give Senate negotiators more time to construct a government spending bill in favor of Democrats.
“I don’t know why this has gotten so much attention,” said Bowman at the time.
“I was literally just in a rush to go vote, man! That’s all it was!”
But the video contradicts Bowman’s claim, as it clearly shows he knew exactly what he doing.
Bowman did not try to access the door after pulling the alarm, immediately fleeing from the area.
According to Breitbart News sources, Bowman ran down a set of stairs and left the building through another exit.

On Wednesday, Bowman was criminally charged with a misdemeanor for pulling the alarm.
Later that day, the D.C. Attorney General (AG) reached an agreement with Bowman to avoid jail time and get his charge dropped in three months to just a $1,000 fine and write a formal apology letter.

President Donald Trump called for Bowman to be prosecuted earlier this month after he pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon Congressional Office Building last week.
During his rally, Trump stated:
“This is the crap, and then they’ll let him out because he’s a Democrat radical left lunatic, and he should be prosecuted the same exact way as the J6 people were prosecuted.”
Trump continued:
“Many of them have been treated more unfairly than anybody in the history of our country.”
“And I don’t know if I should be saying that because I don’t know what these people behind me say, but I’ll bet they agree with me,” he said.
“There’s never been anybody treated so unfairly, just about.”
“What they’ve done to the J6ers is terrible, and Bowman went, and he pulled an alarm, and you could add riots, you could add everything else, and he did it during a vote!” Trump continued.
“And he should be treated the same exact way,” Trump further urged.
“We’ll see what happens because a lot of people are saying, ‘What are you going to do about J6?'” Trump continued.
