The Biden administration is relaunching a website that allows people to order free COVID-19 tests just over a month after a TSA whistleblower claimed the government was preparing to enforce full COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions.
The Biden Department of Health and Human Services announced it will invest $600 million in a dozen domestic manufacturers to increase the production of COVID-19 tests.
“Manufacturing COVID-19 tests in the United States strengthens our preparedness for the upcoming fall and winter seasons, reduces our reliance on other countries, and provides good jobs to hardworking Americans,” Dawn O’Connell, the assistant HHS secretary for preparedness and response, said Wednesday.
HHS said the test can detect circulating new variants.
Now the Biden administration is relaunching the testing program alongside its updated COVID-19 vaccine shots.
The testing website initially debuted in 2022 during the “omicron wave.”
The Washington Times reported that the COVIDTest.gov program offered four prior rounds of ordering, resulting in 755 million tests being shipped to homes across America.
HHS said the millions for domestic manufacturing will go to five companies in California; two in New Jersey and one each in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington State.
“The Biden-Harris Administration, in partnership with domestic manufacturers, has made great strides in addressing vulnerabilities in the US supply chain by reducing our reliance on overseas manufacturing,” HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said on the COVID-19 tests.
“These critical investments will strengthen our nation’s production levels of domestic at-home COVID-19 rapid tests and help mitigate the spread of the virus.”
Last month, a “high level” TSA official told Infowars that they were informed during Tuesday’s meeting of new memorandums and policies to start restricting, including mask wearing.
The policies would reinstate the mask mandate for TSA and airport employees next month.
Furthermore, the TSA whistleblower claimed that mask-wearing would be mandated for pilots, passengers, crew, and all airport patrons, and COVID-19 lockdowns would also be implemented in September.
Earlier in September, two California high schools canceled football games because of COVID-19 cases among students, according to reports.
Sparto High School near Sacramento said it canceled a game after six players tested positive for COVID-19.
The school also stated that multiple players were also injured.
The news comes amid reports of impending COVID-19 restrictions are beginning to be reimplemented across the country.
“Ensuring the well-being of students is not only a moral obligation but also a legal and ethical responsibility,” district Superintendent Christina Goennier told affiliate station FOX40.
Yolo County health officer Dr. Aimee Sisson told the outlet that she supports the move.
“Our role in the health department is to support our schools in being able to stay open for that in-person instruction,” she said.
“We provide support and certain tips on what to do when there are cases and provide testing resources. But really, our goal for this school year is to keep kids in school in person, but also to do so safely.”
In August, Former President Donald Trump responded to the growing efforts to reinstate COVID-19 restrictions, including mask mandates and lockdowns, declaring, “We will not comply.”
In a video to Truth Social, Trump said “left-wing lunatics” are employing scare tactics to set the stage for new restrictions.
Trump said:
“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming.
Gee whiz, you know what else is coming? An election. They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal dropboxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar?
These are bad people. These are sick people we’re dealing with. But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words: WE WILL NOT COMPLY, so don’t even think about it.”
We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.
They rigged the 2020 election, and now they’re trying to do the same thing all over again. By rigging the most important election in the history of our country, the 2024 election, even if it means trying to bring back COVID. But they will fail because we will not let it happen.
When I’m back in the White House, I will use every available authority to cut federal funding to any school, college, airline, or public transportation system that imposes a mask mandate or a vaccine mandate.”
