Liberal Radio talk show host Howard Stern said he was proud of being called “woke” and considered it a compliment in a bizarre rant attacking former president Donald Trump.
“I hear that a lot, that I’m not good anymore because I’m woke,” Stern began.
“By the way, I kind of take that as a compliment that I’m woke,” he said on Monday’s SiriusXM show.
Stern was responding to a YouTube video criticizing his recent leftist political opinions.
The term “woke” was initially used to describe people who believed in systemic racism and other minorities and was used for people who were supposedly “outside the system.”
But, as with many leftists, they are anything but “outside the system” and do the system’s bidding by pushing far-left, extreme ideologies that tear away freedom.
Howard Stern connected the term “woke” with being against former President Donald Trump and favoring COVID-19 vaccines.
“To me, the opposite of woke is being asleep,” he continued.
“And if woke means I can’t get behind Trump, which is what I think it means, or that I support people who want to be transgender, or I’m for the vaccine — dude, call me woke as you f***ing want!”

Stern said he was happy to get the latest booster for the vaccine and took aim at critics who refused to take the vaccine.
“I am woke, motherf***er, and I love it! I want to be awake,” Stern said.
“I want to read legitimate news sources. Here’s how woke I am: I believe the election was not rigged,” he added.
“So, I am woke, man,” he concluded.
“I think that’s a compliment.”
In 2020, Stern declared he was “all in” for then-candidate Joe Biden before telling Trump supporters to drink bleach and die.
