A top Washington lawyer who served the Clinton and Obama administrations has been identified as the passenger killed on a plane that experienced severe turbulence as it flew over New England last week.
Dana J. Hyde, 55, was one of five passengers on board the aircraft when it diverted to Bradley International Airport in Connecticut after encountering turbulence.
The remaining surviving passengers onboard included Hyde’s husband and son, two crew members.
The high-profile Clinton lawyer, was rushed to a hospital after the plane landed but was pronounced dead.
The FBI is now investigating how the former Clinton staffer died.
“We can confirm that the aircraft was owned by Conexon and that Dana Hyde was the wife of Conexon partner Jonathan Chambers,’ company spokesperson Abby Carere said in an email Monday.
“Jonathan and his son were on the flight also and not injured in the incident,” the email added.
The plane made the reverse journey from Leesburg to Dillant/Hopkins Thursday at approximately 3:49 PM, according to Flight Aware data.
“On 03/03/2023, at approximately 3:49 PM, Connecticut State Troopers responded to a medical assist call at Bradley International Airport. One patient was subsequently transported to an area hospital via ambulance,” a Connecticut State Police spokesperson told The Daily Mail.
“Our agency is assisting as needed; however, the NTSB and the FBI are investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. For further information please contact those agencies directly,” they added.
However, it is still not clear how Hyde died.
Although turbulence can cause injury for airline passengers despite airline safety improvements, deaths are extremely rare
“I can’t remember the last fatality due to turbulence,” said former Robert Sumwalt, a NTSB chair and executive director of the Center for Aviation and Aerospace Safety at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Officials said NTSB investigators have now removed the plane’s cockpit voice recorder along with the flight data recorder for the investigation.

Must have had a dispute with her former clients.
Most likely CAT (clear air turbulance). It’s a reason why you keep your seat belt on at all times the aircraft is moving.
Does “you are now free to move about the cabin” ring a bell? Those flight attendants should be given medals for risking their lives walking up and down the aisles.
If husband and son were not on plane the word Arkanside would have been swirling and may yet appear in the conversation.

The only way this person could have died during turbulence is if she was stupid enough to not be wearing a seatbelt during flight. Even in the crapper, she couldn’t have died because there’s not enough room to cause impact injury. She had to be unrestrained in her seat. Clintons don’t think guidelines A***y to them.
She must have been the only one not wearing a seat belt and suffered head trauma or a broken neck.
Sources say that the seat belt was faulty and the surveillance cameras were not working. This is obviously a climate change problem.
However, it is still not clear how Hyde died.
The FBI will FIX that for ya!

This one is easy. Out of her seat or no belt. Plane suddenly drops. Hits head/neck on ceiling. Broken neck. Dead immediately. Now, the only question is whether Hillary or Bill asked the pilot to create that “turbulence” when they knew she was out of her seat. Ha!
That is the obvious first conclusion. Pilot must have turned off the black box or there was a secret hand signal or even a cabin cam. She’s up. She’s down. Mission accomplished. Who’s still buying this many coincidences? There has got to be a million ways to catch a stream to end up in this sort of situation. Also the smaller planes are a nightmare in certain conditions, you really do jump up and down a few meters every few seconds. I refuse to fly myself. I’d rather be dragged across hot concrete through the desert with no water than suffer the airports ever again in my entire life. Pilots are just regular people dialing it in at day jobs, I remain amazed that so many people trust commercial airlines with how bad they treat the employees and equipment. These stories are superficial and meaningless anyways. What cases did this lawyer work on, that’s where the real news is at.

If she had her seat belt on, it’s possible that the calamari formed in her arteries and veins from the c*******t got shook so hard that it completely blocked her blood flow. I believe that’s contributed to many of the athletes that have collapsed because they’re getting jostled around and their heart is trying to pump blood at a high rate. The fibrous gunk in their system just bunches up and blocks all flow.
If she didn’t have her seat belt on, she could’ve hit her head. That would be a good lesson for all to take note when flying.
An autopsy will be done and depending on the results, they may or may not report it.
I feel for her son and husband. No matter how she died, it’s tragic and they witnessed it. Prayers to them.
