Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell claimed the Republican House investigation into the Biden family and their shady foreign money transactions was “all nonsense and unwarranted.”
During MSNBC’s “Deadline” broadcast on Tuesday, Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “We should point out, though, so far that investigation run by that guy into the Biden family finances has produced nothing. Not a single piece of evidence showing that the Biden family engaged in any criminal activity.”
Swalwell responded:
“I fear we can win the battle and lose the war. We can have the flagrant foul called like it was called on Kevin McCarthy when he admitted what they were doing with Hillary Clinton but lose the game, so it’s effective.”
“We’re playing catch up to their lies constantly. That’s why I’ve urged my colleagues to take a 3D approach,” Swalwell said.
“Which is discredit before every hearing to make sure the public knows this is all nonsense and unwarranted,” Eric Swalwell said of the investigation into the Biden family.
“Two, defend any volley that is substantive. And then to pivot and to what we delivered when we were in the majority,” Swalwell continued, adding, “He admitted to what they were doing, but the effect is what really worries me.”

Earlier this month, House Oversight Chairman James Comer announced the committee had reviewed 70 suspicious activity reports linked to the Biden Crime Family.
“Joe Biden’s son. Joe Biden’s brother. Joe Biden’s brother’s wife. Hunter Biden’s girlfriend/Beau Biden’s widow, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife. Hunter Biden’s current wife. And 3 children of the president’s son and the president’s brother. So we’re talking about grandchildren – a grandchild. That’s odd. Most people that work hard every day a grandchild doesn’t get a wire from a foreign national,” Comer said at the time.
James Comer said that while Joe Biden served as Vice President, the Biden family received over $10 million from foreign nationals.
Last week, Comer suggested former President Barack Obama was also aware of the Biden family’s foreign deals.
Speaking with Lou Dobbs on the Great America Show, Comer said Obama must have known about the Biden family business.
“I believe, Lou, that it’s because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency,” Comer said, referring to payments worth millions the family’s business collected.
“He knew his son [Hunter Biden] was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama’s legacy,” Comer added.
Comer added that s Obama’s knowledge of the family’s business contributed to his opposition to Joe Biden’s 2020 candidacy.
“So, I think that’s why Obama didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president,” he said.
