Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) was put back in his place by Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL), who reminded him about his romantic relationship with “Chinese spy” Fang Fang.
Swalwell will never escape being the butt of jokes when it comes to Chinese spying.
Waltz said Swalwell “knows a thing or two about how China penetrates our government.”
“I find it incredibly rich Mr. Swalwell was going to come to this committee and lecture us about how China penetrates our government,” Waltz continued.

The remarks came as House Republicans continued their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
The House Ethics Committee investigated Biden Ally Swalwell after his romantic partner was named a suspect in an investigation into Chinese spy programs.
Fang Frang targeted Swalwell’s campaign, as well as up-and-coming politicians.
While Swalwell cooperated with the FBI investigation, he has since been the butt of Chinese spy jokes.
Swalwell has been heckled at town halls while suffering multiple meltdowns after GOP colleagues made jokes at his expense.
Last year, Swalwell rushed to Hunter Biden’s defense, arguing he “has tried to accept responsibility” for the criminal charges after his counsel failed to reach a plea deal.
Co-host John Berman asked, “Do you think that a plea deal like that would have existed had it been for Hunter Brown instead of Hunter Biden?”
Swalwell responded:
“It sure looks like it. I’ll tell you about a guy named Roger Stone, who owed, allegedly, $1 million in back taxes, and the DOJ went after him civilly and not criminally.”
“I don’t want Hunter to be treated any better or worse. He did attempt, so far — he’s a private citizen, by the way — to resolve this case and has paid the back taxes,” Swalwell said.
