Elon Musk issued a grave warning on Wednesday after students in New York were shifted to remote learning in order to house homeless migrants in an educational facility.
Students at James Madison High School in Brooklyn were kicked out to make way for migrants in preparation for the coming storm.
As a result, the students were forced to do their work from home.
“This is what happens when you run out of hotel rooms,” Musk wrote on X.
“Soon, cities will run out of schools to vacate. Then they will come for your homes,” Musk wrote on X.

LibsofTikTok account also called out the situation, posting a video of migrants arriving at the school.
“School is closed tomorrow because illegals will be sleeping in the school’s gym. This is disgraceful! NYC is prioritizing illegals over Americans,” LibsofTikTok wrote.

In response to a Boston 25 News article, Musk later added:
“They’ve run out of hotel rooms, are kicking kids out of school for illegal housing and now they want your homes too.”
“Governor Healey asks residents to house migrant families amid growing shelter crisis.”
The article discussed calls from Governor Maura Healey for migrants to be hosted by residents due to the state’s shelter system reaching capacity.
New York City Council Minority Whip Inna Vernikov voiced concerns about students being kicked out of James Madison High School.
“Our public schools are meant to be places of learning and growth for our children, and were never intended to be shelters or facilities for emergency housing,” Vernikov wrote in a statement on X.
“Madison is a scan [sic] school where students get scanned upon entrance, but the migrants got to bypass that as per the NYPD. A lot of law enforcement and other agency resources have been poured into this situation tonight. Also, these children are being moved from place to place and will be forced to wake up at 4:30am to leave the school to go elsewhere,” Vernikov added.

New York State Assemblyman Mike Reilly slammed the decision to use the school as a shelter.
“We knew this was going to happen. Today it’s James Madison. Where’s tomorrow? Or the next day? These storms are coming. It’s the wintertime,” Reilly said. He had previously introduced a bipartisan bill to prevent schools and daycares from being used as migrant shelters.
Last month, New York City Mayor Eric Adams begged the Mexican government to halt the flow of migrants into his city during a trip to the country on Wednesday.
Adams and other Democrat leaders warned the migrant crisis could ruin New York, despite some still wishing for the city to maintain its “sanctuary” status.
The NYC Mayor’s trip was aimed at discouraging migrants from traveling to New York City.
Over the past few months, hundreds of illegal aliens have flooded the city after Texas Governor Greg Abbott shipped the migrants to “sanctuary cities.”
New York is now struggling to accommodate nearly 10,000 migrants.
