The alarming measures taken by the FBI during their raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in 2022 have been laid bare in newly unsealed documents.
Not only did the Biden administration authorize the unprecedented raid, but it also sanctioned the use of deadly force if necessary.
As part of the investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents, the FBI’s authorization to use lethal methods showed they expected confrontation, despite Trump’s security detail being a very unlikely violent threat.
“War Room” host Steve Bannon expressed his outrage over the FBI’s behavior during the raid of
former First Lady Melania Trump’s personal quarters.
Legal analyst Julie Kelly revealed details and mentioned that an FBI document categorized numerous photos taken from Melania’s room.
“There are dozens of photos taken out of Melania’s Room, and several taken out of Baron’s Room. I don’t know exactly what they were,” Kelly said.
“So what were they doing in Melania’s suite?” Kelly asked. “And why were they taking pictures of binders that she had in her bedroom? So that again.”
Tons of new unsealed filings on classified docs case–I will try to post as much as I can (there goes the workout) but this is mind-blowing.

The raid, approved by a federal judge, was initiated to recover classified materials allegedly retained unlawfully by Trump.
The FBI’s objective was to secure the classified documents they believed were improperly stored.
The Biden administration’s preparations for potential casualties included notifying a local trauma unit to be on standby, ready to handle any injuries during the raid.
The readiness for violence shows the FBI’s extreme measures it was willing to take.
Attorney General Merrick Garland defended the raid, claiming it was based on specific credible evidence of misplaced classified documents.
However, the raid only fueled further debate.
“I personally approved to seek a search warrant in this matter,” Garland said at the time of the raid.
“The Department does not take such decision lightly.”

Trump argued that the raid was an unnecessary escalation in enforcing laws and part of a political witch hunt against him.
The raid’s timing also led to many arguing that it was an attempt to damage Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
