Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie slammed former President Donald Trump for “skipping debates” during the second Republican Party primary debates on Wednesday night.
During the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, Christie issued a hilarious warning to Trump, which is arguably a threat you’d expect from an angry child in a playground.
“And I want to look at camera right now tell you, Donald, I know you’re watching,” Christie said.
“You can’t help yourself. I know you’re watching, okay? “Christie said.
“And you’re not here tonight, not because of polls and not because of your indictments, you’re not here tonight because you’re afraid of being on the stage and defending your record,” he said.
“You’re ducking these things,” he continued.
“And let me tell you what’s going to happen,” Christie began with his laughable threat.
“You keep doing that, no one up here is gonna call you Donald Trump anymore,” Christie said.
“We’re gonna call you Donald Duck.”

I bet Trump is quaking in his boots!
Aside from making threats to Trump about attending the GOP debates, this isn’t the first threat Christie has made against the former president.
In July, Christie said Trump is “78 years old” (he’s actually 77), adding he could “kick his ass.”
Christie claimed he could “fight Donald Trump anywhere he wants, in any arena he wants, whether it’s on a debate stage or in the Octagon.”

He also accused Trump of being “a child, an infant [to] make that kind of remarks” before going on to attack Trump’s physique
Trump said Christie has “ZERO chance” in the 2024 Republican primary race, suggesting that the Candidate attending the debates will make no difference.
“It will be a race to see who will be the first to get to 1% in the Republican Primary,” Trump began.
“Sloppy Chris Christie, who had a 9% approval rating when he was Governor of New Jersey, or the little-known (for a reason!) Governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, who is 30 points down to me in his own State, and never lifts a finger to help anybody but himself,” he said, adding that potential challengers are “wasting their time and money, they have ZERO chance!”
Earlier this month, Trump decided to ditch the debate and speak to a crowd of current and former union members in Detroit.
Trump skipped the first primary debate last month, opting for a pre-taped interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had, with Energy Independence, Strong Borders & Military, Biggest EVER Tax & Regulation Cuts, No Inflation, Strongest Economy in History, & much more. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!”
Earlier this year, Christie called for the US to continue sending billions to Ukraine until they “win the war against Russia.”
“I don’t know what President Trump is thinking about this except that he has been a puppet of Putin since the time he was president,” Christie said.
“I think it’s very clear what we need to do,” he added.
“We need to give the Ukrainians every piece of military hardware they need to protect themselves against this aggression, and we need to continue to do it until they are ready to resolve the conflict in Russia.”
Christie has no chance.
