Former CNN host Chris Cuomo predicted that former President Donald Trump would likely win the U.S. presidential election, admitting he has never seen so much energy behind a candidate.
During an appearance on the Patrick Bet-David podcast, Cuomo said:
“You know this guy’s gonna win by the way, this guy’s gonna win.”
“I’ve never seen people behind someone like this before, I’ve never been to rallies like that before, for anyone, even Obama didn’t have rallies like that,” he added.

Cuomo’s statement is significant, mainly because he was one of CNN‘s most prominent anti-Trump anchors.
Previously, Cuomo said he would consider voting for Trump given what has happened to America under Joe Biden.
“If it’s Biden-Trump, look, for me—again, we survived a Trump administration. Would we survive another one? Yes, yes,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden. And for people who are now gonna attack me and say, ‘What are you talking about? Trump is, like, this crazy man,’ look, you know, as Patrick says, the data’s the data,” he said.
“Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was president in a way that they’re not now.”
Cuomo also appeared with Tucker Carlson, with the former Fox News host saying he had spoken a lot with his former nemesis after being fired from the network.

Despite Trump facing being bankrupted by the weaponized justice system, his public persecution would go in his favor.
Recently, Trump suggested his indictments and a mugshot could help him win the black vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
“I got indicted for nothing, for something that is nothing,” Trump said.
“They were doing it because it’s election interference, and then I got indicted a second time, and a third time, and a fourth time,” Trump added.
“A lot of people said that that’s why black people like me, because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as being discriminated against.”
