Candace Owens fired back at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), who shared an article accusing her of antisemitism by “supporting” bigotry against the Jews.
The article targeted live streamer Nick Fuentes, an outspoken critic of the Jewish religion, resulting in a blanket ban from several social media platforms.
However, the article pulled Owen into the mix by highlighting several instances of Fuentes praising the political commentator.
The ADL shared this article on X, writing:
“White supremacist & Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes is praising Candace Owens’ vitriolic antisemitism. It’s hardly surprising, but it does set off alarm bells: When bigoted people come together to push an antisemitic agenda, it adds fuel to the fire of hate.”
Owens immediately fired back, denying any particular acquaintance with Fuentes:
“I do not know Nick Fuentes, but you already know that,” Owens wrote.
“What I do know is that everyone can see what you guys are doing to me. Your pattern is well established and the world is waking up to it.”
“My crime is having stood up for myself against your network of smears,” she added.

Fuentes has emerged as a prominent critic of Israel and regularly attacks the Jewish religion,w which has been spurred on by Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas.
Fuentes’ controversial views have resulted in him being banned from X and other platforms.
In 2022, Owens said the ADL creates more antisemitism rather than reducing it.
“I think the ADL is like BLM [Black Lives Matter] and the NAACP [National Association for the Advancement of Colored People]. They create more antisemitism just like BLM created more racism.” wrote Owens.
“They work only to further divide groups—in this circumstance, black and Jewish people.”
Last year, Elon Musk threatened to sue the ADL after they pushed for the platform to crack down on crack down on accounts like Libs of Tik-Tok, even though the account had nothing to do with antisemitism.
What do you think @elonmusk
